Orthodontist
“I love my work as an orthodontist. My greatest joy comes from teaming with patients to create the perfect smile, one that will increase their self-esteem, boost their self-confidence, and transform their lives. I believe in delivering the best orthodontic care possible and enjoy the one-on-one interaction I have with my patients. I like getting to know them as individuals with fascinating lives. We learn from each other, and that is incredibly rewarding.”

Orthodontist
“Hard to believe I've been a practicing orthodontist for more than 33 years now. During that time, I have had the opportunity to work with many patients, creating smiles that not only improve their appearance but also enhance their self-confidence and self-esteem. Each patient’s unique orthodontic needs and individual personalities make my professional life rewarding and fulfilling. One of the primary reasons I chose to become an orthodontist is because it is an area of dental care that patients seek out not just because of necessity, but because they want to change their lives.”

Dr. Woodfin was born and raised in Columbus, Georgia, and moved to Pensacola in 1989. Together with his wife, Tara, he has four adult children - three daughters and a son, and five grandchildren. When he is not at work, chances are that you can find Dr. Woodfin spending time with his family, playing with his grandchildren, exercising, or occasionally driving an old car.
Because he believes in giving back to the community, he currently serves or has served on many boards and committees, such as for the YMCA and the Boy Scouts. Additionally, he is an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Pensacola. Dr. Woodfin is particularly proud of working with other professionals to start an annual golf tournament that raises money for PSC students who do not qualify for financial aid but still need tuition assistance.
God has blessed Dr. Woodfin with a wonderful personal and professional life. He not only has an incredible family but also patients who provide him with opportunities to get to know them as they work together to improve their smiles and their lives. For all of this, he is very grateful!
